Trackside Signaling System

The trackside signaling system ensures safe and reliable train operation through advanced interlocking functions.
Its core components have achieved the highest safety integrity level (SIL4),
while a multi-channel configuration guarantees high system availability and operational stability.

Trackside Signaling System

  • FEPOL

As part of the interlocking system, this device collects all signaling and train operation information from the field and transmits it to the control center, while relaying control commands from the center back to the field signaling equipment.

  • Electronic Interlocking Device

This device interlocks signals, track switches, and track circuits to ensure safe and reliable train operation, preventing accidents in advance and maintaining safety even in the event of operator error.

  • Train Automatic Control Device

This device continuously transmits information from the trackside to the train by modulating the track circuit current, providing essential data for safe and efficient train operation.

  • Lineside Electronic Unit (LEU)

This device detects the status of signaling equipment and transmits condition-specific telegrams to the balise, ensuring accurate communication between the trackside and on-board systems.
